Jacob Commer

Capt. Jacob is a full time fly fishing guide, instructor and tyer based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He offers guided sight fishing on fly and spin tackle for redfish, sheepshead and black drum in the fall and winter. For the summer season, Jacob guides fly fishing for trout on pristine rivers in Arkansas or Idaho-depending on the year. He occasionally builds boats as well.

Capt. Jacob is a dedicated educator and passionate guide, who works hard to achieve success with his anglers in some of the premiere fly fisheries in the country. He diligently supports responsible fish handling, as well as natural resource conservation issues across the country.
